Craft School Oz run workshops on several craft topics which include basket coiling, botanical dyeing, coiled mandalas, string bags , slow stitching and making baskets from the garden. As part of their Social Model Crafts School Oz raise money on an ongoing basis for needy charities in Cambodia.

Ruth Woods, The Director of Craft School Oz, has a wealth of knowledge and craft experience that she loves to share.

Ruth’s experience is as wide and varied as her travels and in the last few years she has worked with an Aboriginal community in north Arnhem land where the very talented Yolgnu women taught her how to weave baskets and she has gone on to develop this craft even further. Craft School Oz now wants to pass on the joy and skills of these crafts to others.
