More about Crafers Netball Club

Crafers Netball Club is based in Crafers in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia and competes in the Hills Netball Association (HNA) competition. We welcome all players to come and participate in the club, and with one of the largest NetSetGO! programs in the hills we welcome players of all ages and all abilities.

The new Crafers Netball Club began in 1986 with the first teams entering the competition in 1987. The original Crafers Netball Club folded at the same time the new freeway was being built through the area, and was resurrected in 1986 as there were about 20 junior players at Crafers Primary school at the time who wanted to play netball in their own area. Some of the school Mum’s got together to ‘begin a new club’, whilst at the same time there were other senior hills players ‘looking for a new home’. This meant the two groups were able to get together and form Crafers Netball Club.

With a long and successful history in the Hills Netball Association, our club is determined to become the preferred netball club for you and your child by ensuring a safe and friendly environment, offering qualified coaches and support staff, and by working with you to ensure your child maximises his or her enjoyment both on and off the court.

The Club is also looking for new Coaches and Umpires as well so if you are looking to participate in this, or you are a current player looking to branch out, please let us know.
