Cowwarr Public Hall was built in 1930 out of reinforced concrete covered in staco at a cost of £3000 by Mr McAlpine a builder that specialised in this sort of construction in Australia at the time.
The building is on crown land and is under control of DELWP and a local Community Management Committee. Although it looks great from the outside it requires more work to bring the internals up to a better standard. this is the task at the moment.
