Corella Creek Country Farm Stay

Corella Creek Country Farmstay is a quiet budget camping ground with an additional self contained studio and two budget rooms.

Located in the McKinley Shire off Flinder's Highway between Julia Creek and Richmond, we offer a retreat suitable for artists, writers, bird & animal lovers, backpackers and families wanting a low cost experience of the outback.

Meals can be provided through our cafe facilities as well as snack foods, drinks and emergency supplies. Sundowners are a feature of the tourist season which runs from April through to October. Over this time we have twice weekly BBQ's and classic Australian Sunday country roasts. If the mood takes you join us for a unique Queenslander's morning or afternoon tea or an after dinner campfire.

With an Art Gallery and gift-shop onsite we are home to the famous 3.5 metre vintage metal Brolga sculptures by Queensland artist Sue Tilley. Activities include seasonal creek and river visits with redclaw fishing, animal feeding and birdwatching. Special children's art and cooking experiences can be arranged.

The area has many historical points of interest which include the local CWA (Country Womens Association) Hall, a 100+ year old Post Office building, and an artisian bore originally sunk to service passing steam trains.
