Coolamon Performance Ponies

Coolamon Performance Ponies is a boutique performance pony stud which began from a long-standing love affair with Leedale ponies bred by Eileen Moore at Leedale Lodge, Pinjarra, WA.
This line of arabian ponies dominated the pony club results boards and graced the show-ring throughout the 1990s, widely regarded for their excellent temperaments and as genuine allrounders and true performance ponies. These ponies excelled at a range of disciplines including dressage, show, Prince Phillip Cup Games, Evening and Pony Club.
Skye was fortunate to begin her competition career on a Leedale pony, riding Deb Ware's Leedale Kahala. This pony helped her get her start in the show scene and led to her selection in the state saddle horse squad. Skye's mother Deb, then purchased the very green galloway, Leedale Vogue, who Skye went on to form a successful and dear partnership with.
With a young family of her own, Skye and her mother Deb, are keen to continue the legacy of these great ponies by producing a quality type, with all the trainability, temperament and ability of their predecessors.
Leedale Miss Millionaire and Leedale Penelope, (both GN qualifiers, EA Championship qualifiers and all round pony club performers) are the jewel in the crown of our breeding program. Our other two mares, Gary Downs Tara and Gary Downs Nicolette, bred by Geoff Garton, also carry the Leedale line on their dam's side in Leedale Lafite.
Our resident sire, Melody Park Heir Apparent was purchased as a yearling in 2013 for his exceptional temperament and type and his first foal out of Leedale Miss Millionaire has proven to be everything we hoped for.
We have used reference sires, Rosedale Eton and Salisbury Pierre, specifically for their type, temperament and ability.
