Cookinburra Park Host Farm

Situated in the centre of popular local attractions, you are five minutes from the start of the Rutherglen wine region or 20 minutes to historical towns. It is a great location to have a day trip to the snowfields, with Falls Creek and Mt Buffalo being only one and a half hours away.
The house on the property is fully self-contained with four bedrooms (sleeps to up ten people), two bathrooms and two large living areas giving you room to spread out. If you feel like exploring the 130 acre property there is a number of different animals you may see along the way, including kangaroos, wallabies, chickens, sheep, cows and horses, both big and small.
Your hosts are more than happy for you to come along with them and get close to the animals, you can help feed the animals, check if the chickens have laid some eggs or help groom the animals. There is plenty of time for patting the animals as well.
For the horse enthusiast, we have purpose built stables and yards to accommodate up to 7 of your own horses safely in their own individual paddock / stable. We have excellent tracks throughout the Chiltern / Mt Pilot National Park which adjoins the property, which take in some breathtaking views of the valleys and mountains. We are also in a very good position just off the Hume Freeway, for those wishing to break their drive from Sydney to Melbourne when attending shows.
