Catherine has had a life time of experience before reaching 30. She learnt her trade in Ballarat at The Red Lion and after qualifying as a Chef went on to do Certificate 4 in Patisserie, with a passion for anything sweet!

Before settling down in Ballarat, she whisked off to London where she landed an enviable position at Primrose Hill’s Melrose & Morgan. There she cooked artisanal dishes for the rich and famous including Jude Law, Daniel Craig and Helena Bonham Carter! Catherine also spent some time in London as a freelance chef. She honed her talent and acquired diverse skills as she cooked alongside amazing chefs at stunning venues.

Back in Australia she ventured off to Perth where she took her catering experience to the mines. Here she turned the mess hall upside down and brought joy through her food to the hardworking miners. A new opportunity called in the City of Perth at Slurp Soups & Salad Bar where she was head chef and manager at the CBD lunch spot.

Now back in Ballarat with her Husband (stolen from the UK) and beautiful 5 month old daughter, her 14 years of experience has led her to dream up another great challenge; bringing “Cooked By Catherine” to your doorstep!
