Concord Bowen Therapy

Bowen Therapy is a gentle treatment, that uses minimal touch to relieve aches and pains from all over the body.

During a session, precise moves are carried out over specific tendons, muscles and nerve bundles to relax the body as well as release fascia and muscles that contribute to stiffness and pain. Bowen also works on the autonomic nervous system to assist the body in switching off from flight or fight mode and back to a state of rest. From this place of rest our bodies are able to repair, rest and digest.
