Comber Optometrist

Joan Comber began her career in George Street, Sydney, before relocating to the south coast. Graduating with a Masters Degree in Optometry from UNSW, she has been practising for over 30 years in the field.

Together with her husband Arthur and sons, they provide a high quality eyewear service to the region, priding themselves on their ongoing relationships with both new and long term clients, many of whom drop in daily just for a chat.

The new eyewear boutique is set up to be casual, not clinical, hosting brands such as Ray Ban, Moscot, Carrera, Ted Baker, Oroton, Vogue, Tom Ford, Gucci and many more, with all lens grinding and fitting done in the onsite workshop.

All eye tests are bulk billed through Medicare, with electronic fund claiming and retinal photography available.
