Coburg RSL Band Night

No pokies, no frills, just good honest wood paneling and hand-painted signs.

The Coburg RSL, a non-profit community-run venue, at 323 Sydney Road Coburg runs a monthly community Band Night in support of small, emerging &/or independent acts of all ages and abilities, adding colour and diversity to the Coburg arts scene. The aim of the Coburg RSL Band Night is to provide an affordable, family-friendly, entertainment option free of all forms of harassment for all people as well as an accessible venue for performance acts at all stages of their development.

Operating from clubrooms which have not changed much since 1964 the Coburg RSL sees the community as key to its survival. As one of a small number of RSL Clubs operating without gaming machines on the premises, the Coburg RSL relies on an active member base, the support of the local community and hire of the venue to ensure its survival. The Band Night series is an innovative way of raising awareness of the club in the community, whilst having a heap of fun on out on the Coburg-town!

Come along and be pleasantly surprised at the next Coburg RSL Band Night. Entry is a mere $5 and includes free finger food for all! A highlight of the night is our ‘Spam Raffle’ a tongue in cheek reference to the usual meat tray raffles so well known in such venues. Barrel of laughs guaranteed!
