What is the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Youth Council?

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Youth Council aims to represent young people living and working in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The Youth Council provides young people with an opportunity to have their voices heard by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and other community leaders, enabling young people to provide input into the decision making processes of the City. There are 20 positions available on the Youth Council for young people aged 12 to 25. Youth Councillors are responsible for initiating and coordinating youth-related projects and events and they act as youth ambassadors to businesses and wider community.
