CityWest Childcare Centre

CityWest Childcare is a boutique early learning centre providing care and education for just 42 children each day, across our three age groups. CityWest was established in 2003 by a small 2 person private owner operator with over 20 years experience in the management of child care centres; our owner continues to personally manage our centre. CityWest Child Care Centre has enjoyed 13 years of learning and adventure with children and their families entrusted to our care.
With educator longevity and strong bonds with both old and new families and surrounding businesses CityWest Childcare Centre is well ingrained in the local community. Relationships with the local library, schools, family owned restaurants, the fish market, supermarket and even the Post Office enrich our programs daily.
CityWest is known for providing an environment where your child can express their individuality, make connections with those around them and develop a sense of self and wellbeing. All achieved while engaging in our play based, child focussed curriculum.
Of utmost importance to us is providing a place where children feel comfortable and secure, valued and respected. The children who attend our centre are encouraged to be all that they want to be and anything they choose to be. Exploring in ways unique to their interests and skills provides meaningful learning and our highly qualified and experienced educators are skilled at connecting with teachable moments and learning opportunities. With our nucleus of family, child and educator we engage ideas, imagination and creativity in order to make the most of everyday. We have always worked in close partnership with families, valuing their input and feedback on our practice and procedures and our ongoing improvement.
With many diverse cultures represented within our tiny tribe, gaining a sense of the world and our place within it is explored everyday. Sharing language, song and traditions weaves our communal blanket.
