Part chicken shop, part Latin American eatery, CHE will trigger childhood memories of suburban chicken joints with a splash of the best Latin American flavours.
The name, meaning buddy, was inspired by Argentinian slang, but it’s also an acronym for CHE’s three specialities: Chicken, Helados (ice cream) and Empanadas.
Peruvian style charcoal chicken.
CHE’s charcoal chicken will be marinated for 48 hours in dark malt beer, house blend of spices and Peruvian chillies before a stint in a custom-made charcoal oven/smoker.
We’ll also offer our own chicken salt by grinding dehydrated chicken skins and seaweed into a powder.
Our award winning empanadas
Following big brother’s San Telmo steps, CHE has been awarded People’s Choice GOLDEN EMPANADA at the annual Malbec World Day, Gauchito Gil last April.
Empanadas are a staple street food menu in Latin America and CHE will bring the best.
Helado de dulce de leche (Argentinean caramel soft serve ice-cream)
And to wrap it up, sweet and melty helados. For a new take on an Argentinean classic, try the dulce de leche soft serve with blueberry and Malbec jam topped with caramelized macadamias.
