Our special chef Clement, works at Chantauvent for the past 35years and is a unique personage of the Guest House. He cooks very typical Mauritian dishes and you will have the pleasure to taste his Mauritian chicken curry or his seafood vindayes.

Pointe d'esny is a great place for Kitesurf, and around chantauvent you will be able to do many activities like the visit the bluebay marine park, the very wild south coast, the Mahebourg Market, Ile aux Aigrette Nature reserve or you may take a catamaran for a wonderful journey to l'ile aux cerfs....
