Chantal Burchett Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am a qualified Counsellor with substantial experience providing face-to-face and online support to individuals and couples in therapy.

I am passionate about supporting you to make positive life changes and to achieve fulfilling relationships. My therapeutic approach is person-centred however I utilise various counselling modalities to support you in therapy.

The counselling journey provides an opportunity to explore aspects of your life in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. I will work with you to explore issues, identify areas for growth and to harness strategies to enhance your overall health and wellbeing.

My counselling career commenced at ACON, a large health promotion organisation. During this time I developed a strong passion and commitment to supporting others to talk about subjects that are often considered taboo, in a safe environment free of stigma and discrimination.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and have completed additional training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Relationship Counselling and Sexual Health Counselling.

In addition to my formal qualifications and training, I am a registered Level 4 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and abide by the ACA’s Code of Ethics. I am also a member of the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS).
