The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is the name of the religious formation for young children. It is housed in a dedicated place called an Atrium. This word takes it roots from the early Christian Churches where such a room existed for those waiting to celebrate the Sacraments of the Church. 'The child, particularly the religious life of the child, is central to the interest and commitment of the catechist of the Good Shepherd' (taken from Characteristics of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, #1)
