the festival has a long history of success and is one of the longest running fringe festivals in Australia. Fringe festival offer art in all forms for patrons as well an opportunity to participate and showcase their art in an important community event. Traditionally the fringe festival provides a forum for new emergent, alternative or underground artists in a manner that is accessible to the boarder community.

Musicians, Artists, Writers, Actors, Venue Holders, Entrepreneurs are encouraged to contact us via the Castlemaine Fringe fb page (below) to ensure inclusion in the program.
There are venues currently being confirmed to house Fringe Events, so if you have not a venue for your extravaganza, let us know what your ideas are!
