The company currently consists of one RC capable Atlas Copco ROC L8 drill, which has recently been under contract in the Pilbara region drilling both RC grade control and exploration for a successful haematite producer, as well as grade control for an emerging metals company. In addition to this drill a second machine will be available late 2013.
The Atlas Copco track based drill platform is able to offer access to difficult terrain, with the most minimal environmental impact, and is capable of high levels of safe production through automated processes and machine design. Machine design also enables the accurate drilling of holes on non-typical angles with a wide range of mast movement not seen on other drills.
Extensive CDC ancillary ensures the drill(s) are stocked, serviced and maintained to the highest standard offering excellent availability. The current drill is also quickly and easily converted back to the original configuration for use as a DTHH blast hole machine for pre-split, production and void probe drilling, as well as de-watering. CDC has broad experience in both civil and mining operations, from conventional DTHH, open hole fixed cutter and roller bit drilling, to blast hole and Reverse Circulation.

Staff training consists of in-house Safe Work Procedures and associated Training Matrix as well as Nationally Recognised Training through the Australian Qualification Framework.
