Carrie's Cottage has been purpose built to provide the ultimate romantic getaway for couples or small families seeking privacy. The one bedroom cottage is set on 40 acres of historic Orange Grove Farm on the South Coast of NSW. On the banks of the Clyde river at Nelligen, the property has almost a kilometre of water frontage. We can offer boat access to the river which is perfect for kayaking, as well as a pontoon for fishing and relaxing. There's a small beach for swimming, secluded picnic spots, opportunities to observe the diverse array of bird species, and nature walks. National parks and state forests are close by to the farm so there are plenty of walking and riding trails. It is only 8km to surfing beaches and the town centre of Batemans Bay with wonderful restaurants and entertainment. The private boutique cottage is self contained with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with TV, big deck with b.b.q, bathroom and laundry. The large upstairs bed room has a wonderful view of the river with a king sized bed, TV and DVD player. There is also a private court yard which is dog and child proof. Breakfast and picnic hampers are available on request. It's the perfect week or weekend getaway.
