From October 2017, Carlton Farmers' Market will be held in the grounds of Carlton North Primary School.
This inner-city accredited market operates with around 30 stall holders offering ethical, local food and produce from free-range meat, fruit and vegetables to nuts, eggs and cheese. There is plenty on offer for a hearty breakfast, your morning coffee or an early lunch.
All markets run by Melbourne Farmers Markets are accredited by the Victorian Farmers' Market Association, which means your guaranteed to be buying directly from the growers, makers and bakers themselves! This sustains Victorian businesses and local food systems.
Entry to the market is by gold coin donation which supports the school's programs. The market is plastic-bag free so don't forget to BYO bag & coffee mug!
