CareLynx started out as a group of nurses who had enough of the status quo in Aged Care and decided to do something about it.

We asked ourselves a question, 'How do we raise the level of care across the board and not just treat the symptoms, but the resident as a whole person?'. The answer was to develop a set of clinical pathways built on Industry's Evidence Based Best Practice Resources called Care Pathways. CareLynx created 300+ pathways which is the most comprehensive library of Care Pathways in the country. These Care Pathways guide the nurse and capture the relevant information, ensuring the resident is provided with the highest level of care. We then tested them in the toughest environment possible being remote, geo-diverse, non-compliant and understaffed facilities in the country. Since inception (5 years ago) we've achieved 100% regulatory compliance, whilst reducing the number of administration and management staff and increasing funding to those facilities.

The CareLynx solution was created from providing nurse advisor and agency support to sanctioned services so our aim has always been to improve the quality of care, reduce risks, increase resident satisfaction, increase the efficiency of staff, control the use of resources and support services to be sustainable. We needed a system to do this.
