Crows Nest Folk Museum transports you back 100 years when you walk through the front gate, let your imagination run wild, and see how your grandparents and great grandparents lived.
The museum boasts its very own village, every building has been lovingly restored by volunteers who have paid great attention to detail making it as close to authentic in the period setting as possible.
The centrepiece of the museum is "Carbethon". This magnificent home built in the late 1880s was moved to Crows Nest in 1978 and was opened as a folk museum in September 1978.
The Folk Museum has continued to thrive since its inception and many visitors from all over the world have enjoyed its many offerings. Come and visit us, and spend some time exploring our rich and fascinating past.
