Capricorn Equestrian Centre and Trails

Capricorn Equestrian Centre was formerly known as Capricorn Trail Rides and we took the lessons and trails out from the Oaks (Caltex) petrol station. We taught kids to ride on our horses, offered lead trails for small children and took out riding trails for families.

We closed the business in 2011 to concentrate on our children and developing our property to make us more tolerant to weather - so we are currently in the process of building facilities, yards, arenas and we are open for riding lessons between March and November ( we do not offer riding lessons through the hot months of December, January and February)

We have been offering an adults class on Fridays "Riding for fun and fitness", your horse ($40) or ours ($55). We also offer childrens riding lessons on Saturday mornings $55 for a two hour class.

We have also secured lots of exciting instructors for 2018. Ian Francis in April, Mandy Probyn in May, Carmen Smith in July, John Wicks in July and we are in discussions with some other fantastic clinicians.

We will be hosting a fourth charity gymkhana in aid of the RDA and Leukaemia Foundation during 2018.

So it's going to be a busy year for us - hope to see you join us in the saddle sometime.
