More about Canine Physical Rehabilitation

WHAT IS CANINE PHYSICAL REHABILITATION?
Anyone that has had to suffer through an injury requiring surgery, or has spent a long time debilitated due to muscle weakness, core instability or general lack of condition would’ve spent a lot of their time in a Physiotherapist, Osteopath, Acupuncturists office or the Gym.
As recent published research is showing, keeping up with the fitness of your dog can be beneficial for reducing the risk of injury and slowing down muscle atrophy, and also speeding up healing times during the recovery period after surgery.
Strengthening, Conditioning, Fitness, Gait re-education and mobility improvements, are all areas that benefit from Soft Tissue Massage, Therapeutic Exercise, Correct Nutrition, and Stretching (just to name a few), which all come under the umbrella of CANINE PHYSICAL REHABILITATION.
