Cades Equestrian Centre

Here at Cades Equestrian Centre we are predominantly a dressage training facility. We train very much along the lines of the “Classical Masters”, believing in keeping everything as simple and straightforward as possible.

Our goal is to have ‘happy’ horses who want to work with you, and not against you. We do not adopt any ‘extreme’, or alternate styles of training methods, and believe strongly in the importance of the riders correctly balanced position.

We take in client’s horses for backing, training, and any other needs they may require, carefully preparing and educated them to become more than suitable mounts for their riders. We are able to help improve and further your horse in their training and knowledge, as well as assist in re-training or fixing issues that you may be experiencing. Another of our services that we offer here at Cades Equestrian Centre is to sell your horse on your behalf.

Our two instructors here at Cades are mother and daughter team, Melanie and Linda Schmerglatt. Each of them, whilst having their own individual ‘style’, revolve around the same belief, ethos and background of ‘classical dressage’ training – developing an unbreakable partnership with your horse where he/she is fully in tune and willing to work for you.
