Craig milne is an Accredited builder and draftsman who has been designing and building residential houses in and around Launceston for 22 years with the HIA (40 years building including time spent in New Zealand). During this time Craig has received many awards from the HIA to show his success. Craig is the most award winning member of the HIA from the North of Tasmania. He has been the winner of 11 categorised State awards and been a finalist in 43. this includes an award wining home built in Hobart and he has also been a finalist competeing against HIA member all over Australia. Some of Craig's major awards include;
Small/Medium Builder of the Year,
Spec home of the Year
Contractor of the Year
and his partner Annie Milne won Business partner of the Year.
Craig designs the houses himself after consultation with his clients and also plays a major role in the construction of the house along with his team.
Craig strives for his homes to be thermally comfortable to live in for Tasmania's cool climate and also to meet all the requirements or his clients.
Craig played a major role in the St Giles 'House of Dreams', where along with many other builders and volunteers from around Launceston came together to renovate a small home in Norwood. this home was then auctioned off with the money being donated to St Giles.
Craig has also supported students from Prospect High School and Newstead college as part of their work placement program. some of which have furthered their career in building.
