Buninyong Foodworks moved into the current location in mid 2012, and now boasts an increased range of traditional grocery items, a large gourmet selection, a carefully selected gluten free range, and a selection of local meats.
The development of the new store was over seven years in the making.
The previous location is reputed to have been the site of the first inland store in Victoria. The Learmonth Brothers set up a trading post for the settlers traveling through to the western districts.
In July 2002, the Rickard family took over the Buninyong Foodworks store.
