The Buddhist Library and Meditation Centre is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit religious and educational organization based in Camperdown, Sydney. The centre was founded in 1991 by a group of individuals committed to raising public awareness about Buddhism. Our core aim is to provide courses, information and Buddhist resources to our members, the public, other Buddhist organisations in Australia, and the media.
Recently the Buddhist Library has pioneered the Cambodia Project which is an ongoing commitment.
We do not receive government funding. Our income is generated from donations and our activities.
The Buddha Dharma Educational Fund trading as Buddhist Library and Meditation Centre is a not-for-profit registered charity. We do not recieve government funding. We rely on the generosity of visitors to fund events and services.
