More about Bruny Island Safaris

Awarded a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor 2014, 2015

Be guided around Bruny Island on our gourmet food, nature, wildlife and sightseeing day tour departing Hobart. Visit scenic lookouts overlooking Adventure Bay and Cape Bruny, the southern most tip of Bruny Island where the Lighthouse perched on the seacliffs casts it’s light out into the Southern Oceans. Here you will be amazed at the towering dolerite sea cliffs.

Spot echidnas, white wallabies, seabirds and other wildlife. Smell the ocean, drive through huge eucalyptus forests and walk through coastal heathlands. Feel the pure white sands between your toes on our virtually vacant beaches.

Meet the producers and taste the gourmet foods Bruny Island is now famous for. With award winning products from artisan cheeses and locally grown berries to smoked salmon, succulent oysters, fudge, wine, whisky and island chocolates. Not only do we visit the islands talented producers we also visit two local foody artisans in Kettering, on the way home to Hobart. Be blown away by Nutpatch Nougat Chocolates (World famous Nougat) and Oakley’s Gourmet Ice-creams.

With pick up and drop-off from your hotel in Hobart included, along with the round-trip ferry and National Park entry, all tastings, big lunch sourced from Bruny Island and Tasmania, this is the ultimate way to experience Bruny Island's wild beauty and wickedly delicious gourmet food that Tasmania is known for.

We take small groups of up to 12 people. The tours are guided by professional and local guides with a mass of local knowledge. Private and overnight tours also available.

Craig Parsey your tour owner lived at Cape Bruny Lightstation and worked on the Island for 12 years in the Salmon farming industry. Now Craig has a holiday home on the south Island.
