Brookes Street Nambour Community Kindergarten

Brookes Street is a community based kindergarten. In 2011 our community kindergarten affiliated with The Gowrie Queensland, who are a community based, not for profit organisation with a proud history in providing holistic, responsive, high quality services for young children and families.

Brookes Street has been providing quality care and education for children since 1966. Initially the Centre operated from the Marching Girls Hall Petrie Creek, and then moved to these premises in 1967. We acknowledge the donation of the land by the CWA Nambour and the hard working families who built this wonderful kindergarten.

Brookes Street is proud to announce the following awards:

2012 Sunshine Coast Glossies Awards in the Edible Landscapes Category for our Bush Tucker Garden.
2013 Assessment and Rating from the Office of Early Childhood with a Kindergarten rating of Exceeding the National standard.
2013 Harmony Landscape won the Landscape Queensland Association Inc. Awards for the Brookes Street Landscaped and play area.
