After re-entering the AP Eagers Group of companies in 2006, Brisbane Motor Auctions have extended their services thanks to various growth opportunities. New marketing strategies have given way for developments in the buying process of pre owned cars, commercials and trucks to occur.

BMA has diversified the disposal methods available to clients rather than the traditional once a week auction. Vehicles are now sold by way of wholesale, traditional tenders, on line tenders, fixed price selling, simulcast auction, regular clearance auctions. And also disposing of trade ins from the A P Eagers group on Tuesday and Thursdays at their Dealer Only Auctions.

General Manager at Brisbane Motor Auctions Michael Kennedy says simulcast auctions allow clients to determine which cars they wish to buy, set a time frame, choose who can view and bid throughout the sale.

“Unlike other auction houses, we only provide this on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Friday’s as a new way of buying from your office or lounge room,” and “Only recently has the simulcast auction been available however we are expecting a huge response to this exciting development,” says Michael.

“Customers can now bid from the comfort of their office.”

A grading system is also integrated into the purchasing process.

“All vehicles undergo a thorough inspection both internally and externally before they are put on the market to determine quality and expected price value.” However we still do encourage buyers to call our wholesale reps to have an eye cast over the potential purchase”

Amenities and facilities include undercover presentation and storage, cafe, wheelchair access, 24 hour on site security, on site insurance, registration, finance, extended warranty, pre auction trade in inspection and an onsite approved mechanical workshop.

May 2008 we introduced Simulcast Auctions.

September 2008 On Line tenders introduced.

November 2009 we agreed to provide support to the Endeavour Foundation.

April 2010 A P Eagers Auction Cadet program introduced.

July 2012 Mobile Service and repair vehicle entered operation

December 2012 Introduction of the Photo ID for all registered dealers to provide security and protection for Licence use.

July 2013 RACQ Workshop opened and operating as Platinum Vehicle Servicing.

August 2013 BMA General Manager now Chairman of the MTAQ UCD and Board Member.

September 2013 Entered into United Auctions Australia national alliance
