The Breathing for Life Trial (BLT) is a randomised trial of a new asthma management strategy which reduces asthma attacks among pregnant women. We hope to demonstrate that this strategy also improves outcomes for the newborn baby, and has long lasting benefits into childhood.

The trial is currently recruiting at Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital. More study centres will be recruiting soon, so stay tuned for more information.
