We are absolute oceanfront with direct access to the beautiful dog friendly Culburra Beach from our garden. All the natural beauty of the South Coast is at the door step of one of the most private properties on Culburra Beach.

The former beach house of the famed Australian artist, Arthur Boyd and his family is perched among the sand dunes of Culburra Beach. With views across the Shoalhaven Bight from both the top floor of the house and the external sun drenched platform that Boyd painted from, now complete with comfortable outdoor lounge to enjoy the views. With direct beach access from the path in the back yard, it is the idyllic beach haven.

BOYD'S BEACH HOUSE offers privacy and indulgences for couples and a casual environment for relaxed family holiday living. We want our guests to come back again and again to share our holiday home as we do, to mark special occasions and create wonderful beach side memories. Despite the brand new fit out of quality furniture, linen, towels, glassware, crockery etc we are one of the best priced waterfront homes in Culburra beach.

BOYD'S BEACH HOUSE is an architect-designed property. It is presented with a host of luxury details throughout but still set up for relaxed casual holiday living.
It's a dog friendly (trained dogs) home. Culburra Beach is one of the few places left in NSW where houses are built right on the sand. No roads to cross! Often not a soul be seen between you and your ocean swim. But close to patrolled beach and quiet cove swimming for younger swimmers.

The multi-level design, with decks off many of the rooms: the main living area, master bedroom, second bedroom and the upstairs sun room, all provides ample opportunity to get away from the action, read a book, watch the ocean or have a siesta or sip champagne looking at ocean, or red wine looking at the stars.
The large open plan living space with vaulted ceilings, open to the deck and lit by multiple windows and huge skylights. The wood burning fire-place, is a great place to unwind with a book or a movie. Cooks won't be disappointed. The kitchen is well appointed with quality crockery, stainless steel pots and pans, sharp knives and beautiful glassware. There is a brand new BBQ on the deck right outside!

Time, love, care and attention have been paid to all the details we think make a holiday house memorable. Beautiful , crisp linen and extremely comfortable beds are provided and please remember, at no extra charge. And the beds are all made up ready for your arrival. (Not folded waiting for you to get busy the moment you arrive - which is often the case!) There is a large 52 inch flat screen and a great selection of DVD movies.

BOYD'S BEACH HOUSE is an ideal romantic haven for any couple (up to 3 x couples), and it's also suitable for a family (including your 4-legged friend). You will be able to take full advantage of the dog-friendly beach that stretches for miles yet is never crowded.
There's whale and dolphin watching from sun room, decks and beach.

We are close to lakes, national parks, abundant wildlife. boating, surfing, fishing, fine dining and all in a sleepy traditional and unspoilt holiday town.

3 x QS beds all of which are made up with high quality linen, bedding, fixtures and fittings.

The master bedroom retreat has its own living area and deck; large flat screen TV, and DVD player.

The second bedroom has its own private deck.

The third bedroom with built ins.

There is also a sofa bed in the sunroom ( only suitable for one person)


There is Foxtel and Wifi in the house.

Wood burning stove in winter; cross breeze, fans and multiple sunny and shaded areas to choose from in the summer

The upstairs sun-room is equipped with a sofa bed, cushions and throws . A room to relax in.
Why not take a bottle of wine, and watch the swell of the ocean, read a book or take a sunny siesta.

Maybe the hammock on the verandah is more your style.

And the iconic painting platform - now an outdoor seating area is a perfect morning coffee or twilight wine venue.

Please note that we are pet-friendly by prior arrangement. While the property is not fenced around the perimeter, the house is dog friendly and we do have a specially designed fenced off area for your pooch to relax in if you want to leave them home alone for a while. And remember, the dog-friendly off leash beach is at your door step.

BOYD'S BEACH HOUSE is not just near the beach, this is built on the dunes yet protected and private through careful planting. Winter loves BOYD'S, and summer gets excited too. Come, enjoy, remember. We have thought about what we want from our holiday house and are offering it to you.
