Boxworks

Boxworks as a company has existed for more than 50 years.

Originally called Australian Florist Sundries (AFS) Boxworks was Australia’s leading supplier of florist sundries. Its products ranged from tissues to florist foams, stuffed toys, ribbons, floristry tools and almost anything else a florist could require. Initially the business was located on Mayfair Street in Abbotsford, Victoria, but relocated to a new warehouse on Johnston Street also in Abbotsford.

Just under a decade ago the company began to experiment with the idea of gift packaging and boxes. A gap was identified in the market where businesses were looking to create their own personalised packaging in smaller quantities that what overseas importers were able to offer. AFS seized this opportunity and Boxworks was created.

In July 2009, Boxworks moved to its current location in Bayswater, Victoria. The company now specialises almost exclusively in packaging solutions, holding onto only its most popular floristry items.
