Sustainability is a given in both design and produce. Bowerbird bar and kitchen will stock Victorian breweries, Victorian wineries and seek to offer a food offering supporting local produce.

The holistic concept of supporting local means intrinsically collecting local artisans who can build a bar as an attractor for the Richmond area. The handcrafted pieces and authentic character of the design begins to create a bower on Bridge road where people are drawn in and also feel at home.

Bowerbird has a local focus with most pieces made in Melbourne economically empowering our home city and celebrating our draw card creative scene.

Bowerbird, seeks to provide a sophisticated bar with highly skilled barmen who have unparalleled beverage knowledge but who are first and foremost very personable, Bowerbird at its core believes that character is key to creating lasting relationships.

The terms handcrafted and locally sourced are too often associated with rustic and industrial aesthetics venues such as these already exist along Bridge road. Alternatively to these, Bowerbird seeks to showcase the nuances of local designers and materiality through texture, design and architectural detail. in order to build a bar that can grow with a forward thinking Bridge road.
