A new scene is emerging in a beautiful 1930's clubhouse, secreted away in the back-streets of Australia's most famous beachside suburb. The Bondi Bowling Club celebrates it's 80th Anniversary on Boxing Day 2015, and will once again become an epicentre of art, culture, food and music for the local and broader Sydney community. An exciting menu, focussing on local produce and an eye on the 'classics' will fuel patrons, along with a selection of more than 20 craft beers and cider and a full cocktail list. Each week visitors can lose themselves in a programme of contemporary live music and special events making use of the world-class production in the large live room. The building will connect people through film and art events, trivia and poker nights. While others may choose to enjoy a lazy day in the sun, overlooking the barefoot bowling greens from the outdoor patio. Of course the Bowling Club members will continue to host tournaments on one of Sydney's most prestigious greens. This is a spacious historical site, programmed with a small bar mentality.
