My name is Kellie Handford I am a qualified Fitness Professional registered with Fitness Australia for the past 9 years. I am a Casino local and I provide group fitness training to small groups (between 3-15) from Mallanganee to Kyogle and Casino.
My specialty is physical conditioning. The age range of my participants is from 21 - 88 years of age. My original group was a bunch of Vietnam Veterans- who I still train 3 times a week some 8 years later. They set the bar incredibly high for other younger people to complain. They are without doubt the very reason I have stayed in fitness and continued to learn.
I am a mum to 3 fit & feisty children and married to quite possibly the most patient man in the world. We have competitive Australian Stock Horses that we all compete with most weekends.
I stay fit to keep up to date with new training techniques and be a positive role model for my kids.
Proudly I train very "normal" looking people. There is obviously no time limit on how long your fitness changes will take but I do focus on getting to know you and your goals so I can best help you based on my experience and my up to date knowledge.
I really like the people who come to my classes. I learn more from them sometimes than they will ever know- or my academic textbooks will ever state.
We have a great rapport between all of my groups and I consider that one of my major functions as the facilitator.
The link between physical training and self esteem is well documented I truly support training as a method for not only physical change but mental and emotional change as well. Hope to see you soon
