Bob Moylan's Stingers Swim Academy

Bob Moylan provides high quality and personalised still water swim training for both adults and kids.

Previously at Dick Caine's famed Carss Park Pool and Gym in Carss Park NSW, Bob has also coached both Mini and Development Squads at Sans Souci Leisure Centre in the St George Region as well as providing one-on-one instruction to squad members (aged 6-14), kids (from age 4 up) and adults to sharpen their individual skills. Bob worked hard to help make the Sans Souci squad program one of the best in the St George and Sutherland Shire Regions and then demonstrated his special skills alongside legendary coach Dick Caine until his move to Armidale in late 2013. He has since worked with a select group of students to correct stroke faults and prepare them for racing.

Bob has eight years of surf coaching experience at Elouera Surf Lifesaving Club and was an active Lifesaver on the beach each summer. He previously completed the Jr Squad and Assistant Coach Course through ASCTA and is now completing his Bronze Licence requirements. He also holds a Swim Australia Teacher licence from ASCTA and provides Learn To Swim lessons (from Mums and Bubs to more advanced students) on an as-needed basis.

An avid athlete, Bob trains daily and has conducted conditioning sessions for his squads which boosted core body strength. He has also functioned as Athletic Development Officer for the Sans Souci Sea Devils Swim Club. He attends his swimmers' carnivals to give them that extra support and instill that competitive edge which will produce the best results.

Bob enjoys working with kids of all ages. His goals are to assist them in reaching their full potential in the pool and to boost their confidence in all areas of their lives.

In the 2 1/2 years that he was Head Mini Squad Coach at Sans Souci, Bob almost tripled enrolments to approximately 200 students doing multiple weekly sessions during the summer season with many training year round. With his teaching and encouragement, many swimmers moved on to compete at higher competitive levels with Bob working with many of those. At Carss Park Bob had more than 50% of his students qualify for Regionals and State championships.
