Come enjoy our Bed and Breakfast in the temperate climate and fantastic location of Paynesville, gateway to the beautiful Gippsland Lakes. Perfect for fishing, boating, kayacking, walking trails, restaurants, cafes, boat hire, sailing and most importantly relaxing. A short walk will take you to the famous Ferry to Raymond Island ( free for pedestrian or bicycle traffic, $10 return per car ). We have a couple of bikes and fishing rods we can loan to you.

The accomodation consists of a queen size bedroom, with ensuite, attached to our home but with its own separate entry. Located in a quiet street, there is off street parking for one car, your own verandah space where you can enjoy a beveridge in our balmy nights or enjoy the sun during the day. The unit is at the front of the house and recieves a comfortable afternoon sea breeze while you overlook the garden.

A Continental breakfast is supplied in your own refridgerator with jug and toaster in the room. Breakfast generally consists of your choice of - juice, muesli, corrnflakes, milk, toast, condiments, tea, coffee and fresh fruit. Soy milk available on request when booking.

Fresh fruit and flowers along with a choc wafer treat and an array of informational brochures regarding the area and activities such as monthly Farmers' Markets in Paynesville, Bairnsdale and Metung where you can obtain our lovely fresh local produce.

You can visit the two Opportunity Shops in Paynesville (only open some days) or the numerous others in nearby Bairnsdale. There are nearby art galleries, boat builders, chandleries and Paynesville has its own slipyard. Paynesville has hundreds of boats of all types and ages and a long history of boating, so you never know what you may come across. Photo opportunities are everywhere.

Shops along the Esplanade in Paynesville range from home wares, a dress shop, florist, bakeries, chemist, fishing/bait shop, laundromat, doctors, dentist and numerous cafes. There are also a large IGA and a newly opened FoodMart.

The water can be seen down the street and a short stroll brings you to the main beach of Paynesville with the Progress Jetty on one side, clean toilet block and Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club at the other end.
