Bluesology

BLUESOLOGY OVERVIEW
Bluesology is a music company based in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. Bluesology overall comprises of three main areas that can either work together or independently.

Promotions

Bluesology Promotions is the primary section of Bluesology. The promotions focus is the marketing and advertising of bands that are managed by Bluesology, covering the bands performance dates and music releases. Bluesology Promotions also organises and holds events that are held in host venues across Melbourne. These events cover a wide range of genres, from themed parties through to charities and fundraisers, and all events feature live bands. Following the Bluesology “Launch Party”, tentative events will consist of “Canteen-Aid” (fundraising event for children with cancer), “Movember Rocks” (fundraising event for “Movember”), and our “Showcase” nights featuring Melbourne’s new upcoming bands.

Management

Bluesology Management is exactly as it says. Management. Local bands and artists can be signed up to Bluesology, and it will be Bluesology’s obligation to obtain performance work for them. Performance work is not limited to Bluesology events. Bluesology can place bands and artists in venues right across Melbourne and beyond. Bluesology Management will also oversee any recording/release work that its bands and artists wish to do and work with Bluesology Promotions and Bluesology Records in not just getting recordings onto disc, but also cover advertising and marketing so that our artists and bands reach a wide audience.

Studio

Bluesology Records will be the recording component of the company. Once established, bands and artists can come to the Bluesology Studio in Melbourne’s western suburbs and record anything from a demo song through to a full album. Services from the studio will start from a copy of a master track right through to copies of a full album marketed by Bluesology Promotions and Management.
