The Blackburn Tai Chi Academy was formed in 1982 by Sifu John Yuen (student of Grandmaster Cheng Tin Hung and Master Ng Kam Kee) and teaches traditional Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan (long form).
As an ancient health and martial art system, Wu Style Tai Chi includes aspects of meditation, breathing, stretching and relaxation that promotes physical, mental and spiritual vitality in people of all ages.
The graceful movements of Tai Chi develop and strengthen all parts of the body, improve balance and counteract the effects of stress.

Intermediate to Advanced - Mondays 7.45pm-9.30pm
For advanced students, weapons classes are also held in Blackburn South on Saturdays.
