Black Mountain Icecream

Made from scratch, a true ice cream starts with a great creme anglaise; a thick egg custard, rich and creamy. At Black Mountain Larder we use free range eggs and whole milk from local farmers to ensure it is wholesome, and super fresh.
Next step involves folding through the finest sourced ingredients, like Anvers chocolate and fresh berries, for our unique and delicious flavours. Oh and for sweetner? Half real, unrefined sugar and half raw Tasmanian bush honey...only the best will do!
Our sauces are made entirely by us too, and from natural ingredients, and these often go into the ice cream for added depth of flavour. The strawberry sauce? Just fresh strawberries, stewed into a delicious, chunky syrup. No food colouring here!
Made in small batches, this means that the product is made weekly and is always improving...and that there is no need for chemical preservatives.
