Several things have conspired to make me leave work after seven years coordinating a Professional Development Calendar for the Community Sector. Firstly my husband Jeff died at 57 earlier this year. Secondly I have been running Jeff’s electronics business which will it seems will sustain me...I’m trusting.
The premature death of a lady at work not much older than me doubly impressed on me that you don’t know what is around the corner.
I have many unfinished projects I want to spend the years I still have my energy and health, finishing. I can’t look Jeff’s gift in the face.
I have a mud house on the headwaters of the Clarence River. I want to finish it and take people there for retreats.
I have a writing degree and long to write.
I’m refreshing my digital story telling knowledge and want to make digital stories for all purposes.
My kids are in Melbourne and I want to spend more time with them. I’ve got a new four wheel drive and a camper trailer and hopefully, eventually, time. In between going out to the farm and running the business. And writing my book.
I want to hold a writers group and am happy to help others with writing projects where I can.
