Bistrot Placek Crepes and Pierogi

In 2013 we opened our first Creperie on the east coast of Tasmania. Two years later after a fantastic run we've decided to bring the deliciousness of French cuisine to another new store front in Melbourne and mix it with some Polish delights.

At Placek we specialize in:

Sweet & Savory Crepes: Ranging from our most popular sweet crepe The White Dream with Mango, Blueberries and Melted White Chocolate served with Ice Cream on the side.

To the irresistible Savory Crepe of Pancetta in and outside, Cheese, Tomato and Spinach.

Pancakes: Freshly prepared using our in house batter and only the freshest ingredients. Our current favorite is The bacon, Banana and Maple Syrup!

Omelettes: we currently have five omelettes available ranging from the delicious Salmon, Spinach and Cheese to our in house favorite The Bacon, Spring Onion and Cheese Omelette garnished with pan fried Mushrooms.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings):
We currently have three available on the menu.

Mushroom and Sour Kraut, Fetta and Spinach and Spiced Mince Beef with more coming soon!

Hungarian Hash Browns: using fresh coarsely shaved potato, these hash browns are not your typical three bite hash brown. These are at least the size of any of our crepes.

Available from opening we will have The Gulash. It has 6 hour slow cooked Beef with Capsicum & Mushroom. Served with your choice of either Sour Cream or Yoghurt.


We will always have great tunes and good vibes. Serving Fresh Organic Free Trade Coffee. Our new store will be smaller. We prefer the motto of "Quality Over Quantity" and believe you will too.
