25 years experience in the making, design and construction of cutlery of all types, swords, historical artifacts, giftware, restorer of Japanese swords and antique cutlery, historical research. Have travelled extensively in previous years learning about other cultures, their way of life and their history. Qualified fencing instructor, and have been involved in the medieval re-enactment area for 20 years. At present doing Rapier fighting as a sport. 7 years as Field Engineer R.A.A., 20 years as Electrical Technician. After many years in the electrical field moved to something I enjoy. Have been participant at Tasmanian Craft Fair every year for over 20 years, the largest craft fair in the southern hemisphere. The past 10 years have been delving into the art world, designing jewelry, black-smithing, ornamental work, found it very rewarding and hope to do a lot more in the future. Have found that customer orientation, satisfaction and communication are very important features in running a business, something big businesses do not provide. I originally started the business as Bismarck Armoury in 1992 in Hobart and moved to Deloraine in 2004.
