Birds on Bikes

Finding cycling clothing to fit those curves is not the easiest thing in the world. It can be a daunting and intimidating process not to mention extremely frustrating. The majority of brands offering female ranges only go up to a size large which is about an Australian size 12 these days.

This was my problem when I first started cycling three years ago. I wanted to go for a ride and stop and have a coffee and feel comfortable going into the coffee shop. I'd go into the cycling shops and the general reaction when you asked for women's specific cycle wear, bigger than a standard cycling kit large, was "no sorry we haven't got anything like that but we've been asked a lot about that lately."

It was then that I decided to create a range of plus sized cycling clothing for women that is stylish, colourful and comfortable both on and off the bike. Now, three years later the vision is about to become a reality and we will be launching our debut range in early 2017.
