A big old apple shed, architecturally designed and lovingly converted into a completely self-contained house, in the heart of Tasmania’s picturesque Huon Valley.

Hobart is a 35 minute drive away. Visit MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art, the place locals love and accept as their own, and that A-listers are travelling from all over the world to see; enjoy a concert by the renowned Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, try Tasmanian culinary art down by the docks, or enjoy the revamped and refreshingly different Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.

At the BIG SHED HOUSE you could be miles away from anywhere, but it’s only a kilometre away from all the conveniences of Huonville, the ‘capital’ of this famed apple, cherry and berry growing region, a mere 5, 10 or 15 minutes away from the villages of Ranelagh, Franklin and Cygnet, and a vast array of local wineries, quality food producers, providores, local bakeries, cafes, restaurants and farmers markets.
