Bidyadanga is a large Aboriginal community, located approximately 190 kilometres south of Broome in the Kimberley Region of WA. The locality is occasionally noted for extremes of temperature in Western AustraliaCommunityIt is the largest Aboriginal community in the state and supports a population of approximately 750 people. The corporation was formed under the Aboriginal Communities Act 1979 (WA).Town planningBidyadanga Layout Plan No.3 has been prepared in accordance with State Planning Policy 3.2 (Aboriginal Settlements). Layout Plan No.3 was endorsed by the community on 15 November 2012 and the WAPC on 28 May 2013.
