Bickley Valley Camera Club (BVCC) aims to promote Club Members to become more skilled photographers within a socially engaging environment. It wishes its members to maintain a passion for photography so that they will enjoy taking images on a regular basis. It is hoped that assignments and outings through the year will give a purpose and incentive to taking photos.
Members are encouraged to learn all the features that their camera has and to utilise these features for the appropriate type of photo that they are about to take.
Meeting once a month on a Monday night, with outings planned on the weekends during the year, the Club views members photographs and judges them based on the Gold / Silver / Bronze judging method on the topics assigned for that meeting.
Even if you're only a beginner, the Club has a two tiered judging system where photographs will be judged based on your Photographic skills.
There is also an introduction to digital photography course available that will teach you everything you need to know about using your camera. Email Darryl: dcollett@westnet.com.au or Laurel: ledunstan@iinet.net.au to find out more.
