Better Together Assoc Inc

Better Together Assoc Inc is a disability/community organisation designed to develop a more inclusive Moreton Bay Region and contribute to the overall strength and well being of the community by developing and maintaining a wide range of strategies, partnerships and affiliations to promote, support and maintain meaningful valued roles and relationships for people with a disability and/or mental health issue in the social, economic and civic life of the Morton Bay Region.

Better Together Inc. believes that although there are many different experiences of inclusion in valued community roles and relationships, there are common elements that contribute to making people feel included. These include:

Being there
Feeling like you belong
Being missed if you are not there

Better Together Assoc Inc receives funding from the state Government of Queensland, Australia, Department of Communities, Disability Services.

Better Together Assoc Inc acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land we’re on today, and acknowledge our gratitude that we share this land today, our sorrow for some of the costs of that sharing, and our hope and belief that we can move to a place of equity, justice and partnership together.
